母親節將至，我們想分享一個特別的故事。小琳是 2 年前我的海扶刀手術病人，因為多發性子宮肌瘤問題前來治療，後續固定門診追蹤。
去年 8 月發現自己自然受孕，開心之餘也擔心自己的高齡和肌瘤問題，怕對二寶有所影響。
我將小琳轉介給我的學長，也是專長胎兒醫學和高危險妊娠的台北長庚醫院婦產科主任蕭勝文教授。非常謝謝蕭教授對病人的悉心照護，讓小琳與寶寶都能在安心的環境中一同安然成長，上週足月剖腹生產，母女均安，真的恭喜！
這是一個非常特別的故事，也是對我們醫療團隊的肯定。把這件好消息分享給大家，我的內心同感欣慰開心。

As Mother’s Day approaches, we would like to share a special story. Ms. Lin was my patient who underwent HIFU surgery for multiple uterine fibroids two years ago. She sought treatment for the issue and followed up with regular outpatient visits.
In August last year, she discovered that she had conceived naturally. While she was happy, she also had concerns about her advanced age and the issue of fibroids, fearing that they might have an impact on her second pregnancy.
I referred Ms. Lin to my senior, Professor Steven Shaw, who specializes in fetal medicine and high-risk pregnancies at Taipei Chang Gung Hospital. I am truly grateful to Professor Shaw for his dedicated care towards the patient, ensuring that both Ms. Lin and her baby can safely grow and thrive in a reassuring environment. Last week, she underwent a full-term cesarean section delivery, and both mother and daughter are safe and well. Congratulations on this joyous occasion!
This is a truly remarkable story and a validation of our medical team’s efforts. Sharing this good news with everyone fills my heart with satisfaction and joy.
Furthermore, I would like to express my gratitude once again to Professor Steven Shaw at Taipei Chang Gung Hospital, as well as to Ms. Lin for her trust and support in both Taipei Chang Gung Hospital and Linkou Chang Gung Hospital’s medical teams. It is through this trust and support that we were able to provide such treatment and care.
As Mother’s Day approaches, I also want to extend my blessings to all mothers, wishing them health, happiness, and everlasting beauty.
